About voggnogg
Name is Derrick, I'm married, have kids and lead a generally normal life when it comes to the same routine. I run adult oriented LAN parties specialized for the 21 and over group. These LANs encourage diversity. Our members consist of tech fiends, new anchors, managers, moochers, stoners, alcoholics, lesbians, straight, black, white, and even a couple Dominatrixes!
Everyone from different lifestyles come together to drink, smoke, trash talk, and generally whoop eachothers asses in our games of choice. Games of choice are usually games of the classic LAN nature (ie. Rune, Tribes, Battlefield Series, Unreal Tournament, Quake 3, Aliens vs. Predator, and FEAR). Hey, we are old, we play what we know!! These are usually held in Oregon/Washington area, and cap out at 160 people.
These LANs were formed to bring back the social interaction in a tournament inspired industry, and also to get gamers familiar with their local gaming development scene in the pacific northwest. We like to keep things a more social nature which is why we don't go with the standard 500+ man size LANs.
I enjoy meeting new people and talking about games, movies, philosophy, history, and views. I have surfed through many different MMOs, and have managed to make my home in Warhammer Online. I pretty much go where the best PvP is, and at the moment, Warhammer cannot be beat when it comes to the PvP system.

oh man dungeon keeper ftw
yea i am a little worried that if i get into WoW i wont do anything else.. like anything.. not just other games.. but anything lol. but ehh im willing to take that risk.. i think its worth it :] and mass effect was fun.. its probably not biowares best.. and trying to get all the achievements has been [still is] pretty tedious.. but its definitely a good game and worth checking out. as for fallout 3 ive watched some gameplay and it does seem to have that oblivion feel.. and i can tell from what little ive seen that i would enjoy it a lot.. so yea i cant wait til i get my hands on it!
Hell yeah it is. I am a Warrior Priest on Ironfist. I love the RvR. When you roll in an organized group of guys you can really kick some ass. I did stop reading forums though. Too many people bitching about stupid stuff.
What about you?
haha yea.. i attempted 100% completion.. but it was taking way too long so i moved on to other games and never finished :[ and i heard pc version was better.. i wish i could try out some of those mods.. but that will never happen so o well. all i have is an 8 year old mac that constantly has problems so i pretty much have to play console games. although i just got some extra RAM so now my computer can handle WoW.. and it hasnt been crashing lately like usual.. so im thinking if i finally get a job and some money i will start playing that and it will most likely consume my life :] in the meantime though ive been playing mass effect on the 360.. if i had money i would go out and buy fallout 3 and be playing the shit out of that.. but yea.. im broke
lol its ok.. and i have heard the same thing about oblivion from many a people.. and i would probably agree if i had played the other ones but i couldnt cause i never owned an original xbox and ive only ever had macs.. so yea :/ i only got to play a tiny bit of morrowind on someone elses pc and ive never even seen the other ones. but as for the leveling up.. i agree cause it was kinda fun in morrowind to go into random caves not knowing what to expect and finding random good ass loot and stuff. also i agree the main storyline was short but of course i did everything.. all the side quests.. i was even attempting 100% completion.. so the game overall wasnt short at all. o and the enchanted painting side quest was a good one! so yea.. i think if i had played morrowind all the way through i would probably like it more.. but from what i have played.. i like oblivion the best. but yea deus ex was just all around good. and yea.. i can ramble about this stuff too :]
Who can't resist a little rvr or pvp? lol For the Horde! Thanks for the add!
i think i pretty much always have to do everything.. even in linear rpg's.. i guess i just dont like feeling like im missing stuff.. probably why im a horder too. and oblivion is my favorite game.. and i loved morrowind from what little i played of it too so i feel ya on the elder scrolls :] o and deus ex is my favorite computer game so i guess i like the cyberpunk genre too.. but youre right there isnt enough of them
yea i love rpg's.. especially ones that take 40+ hours to complete.. although that means it usually takes me 80+ cause im one of those people that has to do EVERYTHING lol.. and yes i do mean the directors cut of donnie darko :]

Yeah, DAoC was probably one of the funnest PvP experiences I've had. My first keep take as a 34 armsman was a blast. I was too low to really do much but I had a ton of fun anyway.
