Anything with a storyline... and anything pretty :D graphics are a big seller, but I won't play the game long if the story is dry... it can be the most amazing looking game in the world, but if there's no beef to the goings-on, I'm done with it. FPSs and RTSs are a few of my favourite types, along wtih RPGs of course.

Anything funny... given it actually funny... and some awesome action flicks :D but I'm not above watching a good drama now and again. Specially if someone needs cheering up :)

Terry Brooks and Anne McAffrey are by far my favorite authors, followed by Tolkien and Rowling...
