Hmm...Halo & Shadowrun are my choice favorites. It's hard to find something that can grab my attention like those two games can.
The list is just too long for me to want to type, soooo if you're really THAT curious, we'll talk.
I just started reading the Halo books...I really dig 'em. I mostly like fantasy books, though. SOME romance, but it's got the fantasy twist to it.
