wut to say, I'm big into gaming.
I suppose I will add a quick blib to the first statement..
For some reason, it irks me when I run across other gamers, especially male in the gender =P and overall I find their reactions to my gaming as one of shock and or fascination. I have considered myself a gamer due to my interest and love for countless games on numerous consoles, this includes D&D and my beloved Magic.
I consider myself a "gamer" not a "gamer chick" Wut in the hell is a gamer chick? The prospect of changing the original Pacman failed for me when they created "Ms. Pacman" in order to entice the female persuation into the gaming world. I refuse to bite into the stigma that the greedy gaming corporations have set in front of me in order to boost sales by increasingly adding sucky games that they think is acceptable to captivate and draw in the female masses.
I do not care for froo froo games that have weak plots and no lasting appeal, I don't want to nurture a pixilated puppy nor ride a fairytale horse across lush meadows with pink attire on.. gay gay gay
I want hard core in your face violence, I want rpg's that place me in a situation where I either make the cut or end up with an epic fail after being a zombies last snack..I want to commit an infinate amount of pointless homicides after stealing a car, wrecking it, then beating up a hooker and unsuspecting gramma on her utherwise "quiet" sunday drive to the knittingt factory.
I crave the glory of murking as many players as possible and walking away with their virtual heads to add to the massive heap I affectionately named my "bone yard"
So before you plan on catagorizing me in this myth/legend catagory of a "gamer chick" perhaps this short intro will broaden your horizon and change your perspective on wut a gamer of the female persuation means to you.. ^^
