News that the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 -- the version being (supposedly) boycotted by so many hardcore PC fans upset with the restrictions placed by IWNet -- had accounted for just 3% of the game's total sales had smug PC gamers laughing at Infinity Ward. But any joy they might have been experiencing has been cut short by community manager Robert Bowling, who has posted on the official Infinity Ward forums with word that Modern Warfare 2 has outsold Call of Duty 4 in its first week.

Yes, PC is the smallest percentage in terms of how much sold on each platform but that hardly means anything other than the PC is just the smallest market.

The PC version of Modern Warfare 2 has actually outsold the PC version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in its first week. Making it the most successful PC version.
