The recently-released God of War Collection appears to be experiencing some technical hiccups, according to users on the PlayStation forums and blog (via Joystiq). A handful of players are complaining of freezing during the opening cinema or stage. Most of the issues seem to be coming from 60 GB units, though there are a few PS3 Slim owners with complaints as well. Sony hasn't officially responded yet, but we're keeping an eye out for it.

If you've been having trouble, feel free to enter the PlayStation forums and let them know. As with all bug reports, the more information provided, the easier it is for developers to address them. Be sure to include your PS3 model and where the freeze occurred. The problem doesn't seem widespread; many players are enjoying the game just fine, and we haven't had any trouble here at 1UP. But we'll keep you up to date with word from Sony on a fix for those affected.
