Hunting games have a bad reputation. Duck Hunt got a free pass, but ever since, animal shooting expeditions have been mocked by hardcore gamers, and a unending deluge of budget PC titles have made most people equate the genre with bargain bin shovelware. But, do all these titles deserve such a bad reputation?
As deer hunting season opens up across most of the U.S., I jumped into the world of hunting games to see if I could find the best of this neglected sect.
