One of Nintendo's most beloved franchises, Animal Crossing has seen millions of players around the world creating and maintaining their own tiny, cartoon animal inhabited towns since the original game's release seven years ago. OK, Nike Have Gone Nintendo MAD [Nintendo]

Posted by Luke Plunkett on Wednesday November 19, 2008 2 p.m.

What is this? A mass act of adoration on the part of Nike's design team? Or some strange, off-key marketing exercise on the part of Nintendo? It's difficult to tell, but what is clear is that Nike are loving their Nintendo at the moment. First it was NES-themed Air Max classics. Then a whole range of Wii-inspired kicks. Now it's another NES-inspired shoe, this time the Air ...

Posted by Michael McWhertor on Wednesday November 19, 2008 7 a.m.

Can you believe it's already been two whole years since Nintendo launched the Wii in North America? What heady times! We were still reeling from the PlayStation 3 launch two days prior, still making off-color Wii puns, confident that we'd be able to stroll into a Best Buy, Target or GameCube Hut and walk away with one of the many Wiis that would be available at retailers nationwide ...
