You know David Jaffe, right? He might've made some video games — we have some vague recollection of that — but he's mainly known now for his mouthing off. Apparently, Jaffe's public online assessment of one of our nation's vice presidential candidates got some attention, mainly from site GamePolitics.com, who gave Jaffe a bit of a hypertext-lashing. Jaffe's back, not making video games again, and defending his assessment of Alaska governor Sarah Palin's fuckability. Too bad we'll likely see Jaffe's Homeland, because it's clear the man is passionate about his politics.

Dated? Maybe a bit, but the frantic Sackboy air-humping in this attempt at viral marketing for LittleBigPlanet quickly won us over. We're kind of easy that way. It was uploaded by Rovient, who just happens to have the same handle as a Media Molecule level designer (thanks, Marco!) but we shan't hold that against them.
Back at Leipzig we gave you a first look at FUEL and honestly it's really hard not to be completely stoked about it. Every time we get new images for the game I want to go get into my car - drive to Oklahoma - and go chase tornadoes. The game will include other weather effects such as thunderstorms, sandstorms, snowstorms. In the end FUEL is starting to look like Motorstorm on crack.
To celebrate the finale of Big Brother in the UK tonight, Ubisoft released this new trailer for Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party. I know that the cookie is supposed to be coming from under the couch (or at least I hope it is) but I can't help but chuckle at the fact that it looks like the bunny is having some sort of (insert joke here). The game is headed to Wii later this year.
And it's a long one. Bring tea, and biscuits. Or, if you're a raving mad Square Enix fan, those two plus whatever else it is you'll need for 5:13 of hot, one-on-one Final Fantasy fisticuff action.
[thanks everyone who sent this in!]
We know THQ are working on a Warhammer brawler. And that it's both "brutal" and "intimate". Now, courtesy of this leaked demo vid, we know that it's called Warhammer 40K: Space Marine and, more importantly, we know how it looks. And boy does it look great. Bearing in mind this is early, raw footage (so excuse the empty levels and clunky run animation), the way they've already nailed the heavy and, yes, brutal feel of both the combat and the universe itself should have Warhammer fans excited.
Of course, being relatively timid RPG players we'd then apologize and quietly pre-order the import version once the tell us no, but for a brief moment we'd be united. That's the power of Felicia and a prinny on the same screen.
In this new video from Guitar Hero World Tour Billy Corgan - the lead guitarist for the Smashing Pumpkins - shows us some of the motion capture that he had to endure to get his likeness in the game. The game will be hitting stores on October 26th.
