i think the only thing PC's are good for are MMORPGs everything else its so much nicer (and easier) to sit on the couch and play

Mouse and Keyboard way better for FPS games. Plus you can have more people in a multiplayer game on the PC for more carnage.

PCs are better for everything period.

To my knowledge, consoles don't have many RTS games.

The most my PC can handle is Roller Coaster Tycoon. Used to be able to run WoW, on days when my wireless connection was decent. But now, given the screens I've seen of Age of Conan, I'm pretty much in the dust. D:

Happyface, the 360's getting Halo Wars exclusively, last I heard. It's not much, but it's definitely something, if it turns out to be fun.

PC gaming ftw!

How people can play fps with a gamepad and think they are kicking butt is beyond me.

But here's the kicker for your console only buddies. Since the cost of making games is higher and takes a lot longer, and since technology advances so rapidly, chances are, the 360 and PS3 are going to be the last consoles made. They already lose money per console they sell, and it's hard for them to make it back with the games. So, in 2 years, they'll have their 3rd generation games coming out (maybe), that are better then the previous games, and they will probably be hitting the max the console can do gamewise/graphicwise.
While the PC will be light years ahead of them, like always.

Of course, Nintendo knows how to do business in style. Wii's aren't being sold at a loss, and they are doing extremely well. Sure, the graphics a bit better then the Gamecube, but dang, they know how to get people gaming in style.

PC Gaming is for the intelligent/active minded players and before you say "Whoa, whoa, whoa, that's just not true!", let me explain.

Console gamers go out by a game, put it into their consoles, and play it with a pad of about 8 buttons and thumb sticks. Yea, they get to play right here, right now.

PC gamers have to know how to update their graphic drivers, flash their bios, upgrade their ram, and know the specs of the game and their computer before installing the game. Then after installing the game, they (oh I meant we), we have to download any patches and updates, then start the game. We then change the games settings to meet our needs. NOW we start playing the game with a keyboard and mouse with alot of keys and buttons at our disposal.

I know all the console gamers are saying to themselves, that is alot of work just to play a game. I know some are saying that is why they play consoles games...to get away from all those hassles. Whatever your reasons for console gaming, it is all good, BUT when your system goes down, can you fix it? If you can, well, thats because you also own a computer. I own an Xbox 360 myself but prefer the PC.

PC gamers also have the unique additions of mods which I haven't really seen for any console games. So after completing my game on the PC, I can download mods to enchance my play experience or alter it completely. This is the main reason I side with PC gaming over console gaming. Ask anyone who has played the original Half-Life on the PC how many mods has been made for it.

This is not meant to troll console users to flaming but tp post my honest opinion on it.

I feel that both of the machine types fit certain needs. For example, I'd go for RTS/FPS games on my compy first, probably leave the Fighting/adventure games for the consoles. RPGs are a mix-up, but they're good on either one. Personally I just feel more comfortable with RTS/FPS games, as many would say, with a mouse and keyboard. While I do agree this generation of consoles do a much better job on FPS titles than the previous ones, it's just what I'm used to. Hell, for a while I didn't even play FPS games because I wasn't confident my compy could run them smoothly enough...fortunately that's no longer an issue. Bwahaha!

Okay, I'm done.
