Group Profile: How to Survive an Alien Attack

"I will reason with the aliens and hopefully everyone (including me) will survive. If the said aliens don't listen to what I have to say (not many people do that) I would have to keep my weapons ready."

This is a community effort here so I want to hear all your answers. Here is mine.
In the event of an alien attack, depending on how technologically advanced their weaponry is, I would say the best place to go would be somewhere underground and hopefully try to coordinate efforts for a counter attack from there. If not there is always the tried and true place in the case of Zombie attack... the Mall.
