I am back, my computer has been underattack, like a pizza in a weight watchers convention. just last week alone I had to reformat my hard drive 2 times. **If i have to clike on one more microsoft windows update I am going to wire some c-4 to my laptop!**

Yah you would get messed up trying to pretend your Shotgun is a sniper rilfe... Lol but I saw a new trying to do that a few days ago I was laughing so hard... BR is King for middem Range and Shotgun is the King for Short Ranged... all the Sword dudes think there all big and bad but truth is the shot gun is the king of short ranged combat. BR can be used well nearly at any range but is king of middem range. other hand shot gun is king of short range but cant really do nothing middem and "it is not a sniper" =P. Like i said I am a BR fan, but the shot gun can do some nasty stuff.

ranger all I'm saying is you can't kill an opponent with a shotgun mid to long range. the way the question was asked gave too many variables. I only threw one out onto the playing field, I know skill also takes into account. personally i am a b.r. user.

For all you COD 4 players.... what set up do you use for your custom classes?

My 2 that I use are a P90 w/silencer. My perks are Bandolier, Double Tap, and Martyrdom... or I have my AK47 w/silencer. Perks are bandolier, increased damage, and martyrdom again.

Astael, it mostly matters your tactics, and your skill level with both weapons but in a one on one it depends on the map enviroment as well example, say you where fighting on Guardian person with shotgun will camp with it person with B R would use middem range... but these days everyone charges so it truly depends on the skill level the enviroment and tactics. reguardian your comment "all depends on how close you are to your opponent." that has alot to do with it but in a one on one you got to think of it in a perpesctive of a chess game most the time you have a general location of where your oppenut is most of the time. so if he had a shotgun you would not just rush in there and the oppiste is true as well if you have a shotgun you would not go in a open area. The true answer is it depends on your skill level with the weapon, your tacties and your enviroment you are in. But I personaly like the BR I am a middle ranged combat person myself.

Halo has better pickup and play, the ability to carry 3 other people online with you and a much more balanced combat system. COD4 has obviously better customization and frees you of the "rush for the rockets" that plagues every Halo match. I think both games have their place but I'll probably end up playing COD4 more for the time being.

halo 3 vs cod huh..
there two whole different elements of gameplay,
it matters waht type of game you enjoy,
me myself im a unreal 2k4, Css person
so naturally cod4 with the addition of hardcore search and destroy is my personal fav, for halo, im not a very strong player, i enjoy the game, but i feel the game itself is overhyped and not all internally balanced, i still love it though
personally i like the old school fps, such as quake 3 arena, unreal 2k4 the tradition "Fast" aced shooters, halo feels to slow for me....

Well... we all know where I stand on the Halo/COD battle.

As to GTA.... I will say this. I was AMAZED when I first played the game. However... after a few days of playin... let's just say it reminds me of a chant we used to do at wrestling shows.

Halo 3 is amazing in terms of fictional FPS sense, where as COD4 works on a more "real life" situation, which is also amazing.

You can't compare halo 3 and COD 4 they're too different of styles. Halo 3 you run around and rape peoples. COD 4 is wicked because you have to actually use tactics to maintain the advantage.

Besides, you get as much joy from beating someone down, as you do from shanking them. At least I do.
