Well, i'm not a girl gamer myself, being male and all, but I find girls are more polite on Live and far more willing to play with anyone. I've only run into a couple, mind, but then, I don't use my mic at all, and i'm sure most girls don't either, and for good reason. I even mute voices for the most part, just because honestly, the 90% douchebag male gamer thing gets to me as much as it would get to any girl trying to have a friendly game. Ah well. I like to think of myself as a pretty laid back male gamer, but i'm into games like Gears 2, which is mostly male biased, and that can get irritating when you get messages from guys that are insulting - My sympathies to girl gamers who have to put up with some of the Xbox Live crowd. Seriously. 0.o It's tough enough for some of us guys.

to be honest i've not played many female gamers but when i have they have been very good and often better than me its a shame theres a stereotype round where i live that female gamers tend to be rubbish which clearly is very untrue

One of my officers was female in WoW when I was a GM. She was also the most efficient at getting things done, especially when I was not around.

In the end I ended up making her raid leader because she was extremely equipped with skills on time management.

Raising a house full of girl gamers makes my life SWEET!!! *Except when they gank me...which, depending on the game, is often. ;-) As a developer though studying what they, and their friends, like has made my ability to create titles with universal appeal.
