Galactica

Galactica evolved out of the Web Space Alliance game project as a two-variant space experience. Galactica.Sim challenges players to build an empire by colonizing and conquering thousands of planets with hundreds of competing players. The game (a free-to-play title with an online subscription service) focuses on the expansion of empires rather than planet building, with fleet management (waypoints, fleet battles, invasions and orbital bombing), planet management, (resources, defenses, buildings, population and shipyards), research (mining, defenses, propulsion, weapons, spying etc.), and diplomacy (alliances, pacts, and in game chat and messages.) Also features unique planets and ship types, unique research fields to explore, and simple mouse-click command of fleets and ships.
