Kino no Tabi II: The Beautiful World

Part two of the game series based off the popular Kino no Tabi novel tells the story from the perspective of newcomer Sei. Journeying with his sidekick Jan, Sei hopes to encounter the mysterious mushroom. The game's adventure mode includes animated stills, text and full voice, recreating ten chapters of the novel, complete with branching selection points. Also included are three mini games, which affect the outcome of subsequent story sequences. Purists can select the "novel" mode, which gets rid of path selection but keeps the multimedia presentation.
