Deadly Arts, a Fighting video game for Nintendo 64
Deadly Arts
Konami delivers a frantically fun 3D fighting game for the Nintendo 64: DEADLY ARTS. In this beautifully rendered collection of backgrounds, you can face off against challenging opponents with your own virtual character, using the unique Create-a-Fighter option. You create your challenger by choosing from various body shapes, heights, hairstyles, and faces. Once your gladiator is ready, you pick one of the game's cool characters to fight against. As you defeat each opponent in the ring, you'll be able to learn moves from them, eventually piecing together the best moves from each of the other fighters. Or you can use the Tag mode, where you form a three-person team; you can switch characters at any time, but anyone you drop is out for the game. Use all the fighting skills you can master (like punch, kick, block and evade), and add to your arsenal as you learn new moves. Much like VIRTUA FIGHTER, all matches are determined by the tabulation of various scores not by low energy meaning every new hit or combo move matters.
