Ganbare Goemon 3: Shishi Juroku Hyoe no Karakuri Manji Katame!

The Wise Man of Iga has created a time machine and travels to the future and promptly gets in trouble. Ebisumaru's religious descendent, Sister Bismaru, has captured him and is of course bent on world domination. It's up to the team of Goemon, mechanical ninja Sasuke, Yae and Ebisumaru to stop the western threat (Bisumaru is a catholic nun) from the future. In a departure from the previous, side-scrolling level-packed game, the third Super NES Ganbare Goemon title goes for a predominantly 3/4 view adventure setup. With its focus on items and exploration, Goemon 2 resembles The Legend of Zelda titles even more clearly.
