The Story of Hero Yoshitsune

Historical action game from FromSoftware, described as a combination of an RTS and a traditional third-person 3D action game. Recreating the real-life adventures of the tragic war champion from the 11th century, the videogame takes place in the 30-year period of 1159-1189 and enables players to control their adventures through the operation of several factual Japanese generals. Players are able to give various commands to each of them using the face buttons of their controller. But instead of taking the rather straightforward approach that Dynasty Warriors is known for, there is a definite strategy involved when it comes to swinging the advantage in your direction. Keeping an eye on your subordinates, for example, is extremely important -- as neglecting them or failing to support them with the troops that they need, can lower their dedication and abilities and thereby weaken their position on the front.
