Doko Demo Issyo: Toro and the Shooting Star, a Adventure video game for PlayStation 2
Doko Demo Issyo: Toro and the Shooting Star
Adventure game from Sony Computer Entertainment, starring the popular Japanese cartoon cat Toro. One night, Toro waits by the window for his chance to see a shooting star and make a wish -- when one does appear. But instead of granting him the wish of becoming more human, the shooting star crashes right into Toro's house. It's up to you to partner up with Toro the cat in a search for fragments of the fallen star. You can move around through town, investigating places like parks and temples. You teach "Pocket People" new words using a cell-phone-like interface. Words that you teach gradually spread throughout town and are uttered by some of your favorite Dokodemo Issho characters, such as the frog Rickie, the robot Suzuki, the rabbit Jun, and the dog Pierre. Dokodemo Issho means "together everywhere." Only released in Japan.
