(Lots of) people miss the days when games didn't require multi-million dollar budgets and long, boring intros to be considered 'fun'.

The MORTAL KOMBAT series makes its way to the Dreamcast with MORTAL KOMBAT GOLD. This is an enhanced version of MORTAL KOMBAT 4, which features the MK universe in full 3D for the first time. This time it's a battle of good vs. evil, with the winner ruling the universe. Choose your gladiator from an all-star list of characters, which includes Baraka, Mileena, Reiko, Shinnok, Scorpion, Reptile, Quan Chi, Sub-Zero, Tanya, Raiden, Sonya, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, Kitana, Kai, Jax, Johnny Cage, Fujin, Jarek, and Cyrax. Put your character to the test in one of five modes Practice, Tournament, Arcade, Team, and Endurance and see if you can defeat the enemy. Master each character's special moves and try to unlock the hidden fighters embedded within the game, or just sit back and watch the ending of each character's story.
