Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny: Generation of CE

Mobile Suit Gundam: Generation of CE takes the familiar simulation-RPG approach to the license. You move units around on a hex-based map, with attacks appearing in full 3D. Bandai is making use of cell shading to add flair to attack scenes. The game is split into missions. You start by selecting a mission from the deck of the Minerva. While the included scenarios follow the storyline of the television program, you're free to select previous missions in order to build up your experience prior to selecting a difficult mission. Following selection, you go through a briefing, where you're introduced to the battle conditions and learn what type of changes you should make to your Gundam units prior to departure. Just prior to battle, you go through a setting phase, where you select units and make modifications.
