Kill a Witch with a single headshot.
You’ll know if there’s a Witch nearby if you start hearing creepy crying. A witch will be lying on the ground, weeping into her hands. You must get her attention first. Just walk up and turn on your flashlight, she will look at you before standing up. The second she looks at you, shoot her head with the semi-auto shotgun.
1) Approach the witch from the side or back, NOT the front.
2) Walk forward into the Witch until you can't walk forward anymore. Yes, you WANT to be that close.
3) Aim at the Witch's BODY, not her HEAD. (Specifically her back)
4) Fire twice or three times just to be safe in case you mess it up.
The reason you want to approach from the sides or the back is so that when you aim at her body, she doesn't stand up (she leans forward the whole time as she's standing), and you end up shooting the floor or her foot and "startling" her right away.
It's possible to Cr0wn a witch that's completely standing, and even Cr0wn while running past a Witch and not stopping, but attempting to do so should be done with plenty of practice. ;D
