Give StarCraft a try. It's an old PC game, so you should be able to get it cheap. It's still a very popular game with an active online community. Check the video game review web sites for it.

coudn't really get into final fantasy and gta 4 is badass but i usually play resistance fall of man and ratchet and clank god of war also of course those games are freaken great
i'm alright just enjoying some gta 4 and going back to playing ratchet and clank future tools of destruction oh yeah
