so i built a new gaming system from the ground up not more than 2 years ago.  all top of the line shit.  quad core, 4gb, 1tb raid0, 8800gtx, liquid cooling etc etc.  i thought "well hey..  if i spend the extra cash now, i won't have to upgrade for at least a couple of years."  everyone knows at the pace of computer hardware innovation, everything becomes outdated relatively quickly.  but fuck, i look on newegg and i can get a comparable system to the one i just built for 3/4 of the price!  someone needs to tell the higher ups of computer engineering that they need to slow the fuck down because it's seriously taking a toll on my ego, wallet and self confidence.  because we all know pc gamers measure their manhood (or breatsize) by the size of their graphics card cache!
