Well as you all know.. this weekend was :

MLG Toronto

Thursday night i got home from vacation coming from Punta Cana. I got home and had 5 minutes to get ready because Alex, Amanda, Derek and Ryan were waiting outside to pick me up. We went straight to the bus station where our bus was over a hour late. Finally, we all got on the bus, and after about 12 hours we were finally there. The bus was so uncomfortable by the way, so i barely got any sleep.. and it was even worse that my phone decided to completely die and i had nowhere to charge my phone. Anyways, when we got there we walked to our hotel room at the Marriot and checked in. We showered and headed over to the event to sign in. We spent most of warmup time trying to find myself & Ryan a controller but we couldn't find one so we both ended up buying one at the store. Me & Amanda decided since we couldn't do a warmup as a team, we would play at the Astro station 2v2's. We won both games that day and all the guys were amazed we were girls who could actually play halo. I can't even count how many times i was asked, "you are actually competing here?" this weekend.

After meeting a few people and just walking around and hanging out.. Amanda & I found out we were playing our first game at station 1. We told Alex & Ryan and later on Alex came over to us, asking us if station 1 was main stage. We all freaked out since we had to play our first game on main stage. Me & Amanda shared a screen so when we went to go sit down, our xbox was broke so they had to go find another one and after finally fixing it, neither teams had the maps on their hard drive for some reason. Finally the match started, we played a TS and Hill game which we lost both. They were both really close games tho and it gave us confidence that if we could come close to a team, with so much pressure from being on main stage, no practice as a team, and i personally hadn't played since i was on vacation for 2 weeks.. that maybe we would win in losers bracket. The other team we played was cool and me & Amanda later became friends with the coach of their team, and we hung out with them later that night. That night we didn't do much since everyone was out clubbing, which we were too young to do -_- We hung around the Inter-Continental hotel and eventually went back to the room and slept.

The next day we woke up early & when we got there, we warmed up for like 10 games. We won like 7 of them and we were pretty happy about that. We got a bye for the next round, so we had to wait till Round 4 to play. We played a pretty good team, and unfortunately lost again but that made us get in the 64th-81st place bracket. Alot better then how we placed at meadowlands. Me, Amanda & Derek split up from Alex & Ryan and did our own thing that whole night. We met up with Montag's team- Montag, ZigZag, Rift and Budha. They had a pretty sweet room that cost alot of money so they had two TVs set up. We played some halo & partied for a little while. Then we went back to the event and watched a few games at main stage. We left the event & woke up the Gamernook team who were sleeping at their hotel. We hung out with them for the rest of the night.. Me, Amanda, Derek (Pennnn), Evan, Pax, & Mark.

That was basically the whole weekend. The next day we just watched the pros play. I was sick from the night before but i got over it. I was happy that Str8 Rippin won because Snip3down is on their team :] <3

Thanks to everyone who made the weekend worth it.
