Batman: the dark knight

Why so Serious?

This movie was the ultimite thriller and action movie anyone could ask for. I enjoyed every second of this movie no joke. My favorite part was when the Joker was leaving the hospital after the introduction of Two Face. And Joker couldnt seem to get the rest of the bombs to go off as he walked away from the building in a nurse dress. Heath Ledger did an amazing job in this movie (and now i can see why he killed himself) he fill Joker to the fullest.

I give this Movie 5 stars
it was simply amazing.

Team Foxy at MLG Orlando

Posted by j_for_jade at Sunday July 13, 2008 - 11:50 a.m.

I arrived Friday morning for MLG Orlando and i finally got to meet the girls from Team Foxy. Becoming one of the Foxy Four and being able to play has been a experience i will never forget. Our team consisted of: xXMafia ChickXx, ShwarzengersMom, oO Goddess Oo and myself. When i arrived at the venue i was greeted by Mafia Chick (Jane) and ShwarzengersMom (Stace). We met up with our other teamate Goddess and immetiately started going over strats for our game play. Once we entered the venue which i must say was very big compared to other past tournaments MLG has hosted, we got in line to practice. I started out slow, very nervous, considering this was the first MLG i had ever played at. But once i started getting kills my confedence came back and my skills came natural. When we were done warming up i was introduce to the 4 Lone Wolfs: Pennnnnnn and the owners of Gamernook.com. With the witty comments and intertaining personalities i couldnt help but enjoy my time. Friday morning we lost our first event which i must say was a bummer, but all the girls played very well considering it was the first time we all played together in a week. Saturday finally rolled around. The girls and I arrived at the venue at 9:00 to start warming up for our event. We waited till 11:30 for our first game, i dont even know who we were playing, Randoms i guess? We lost our first match, but Team Foxy's coach (DollaBill) was there to get our spirts up, he told us a strat to follow for the Pit: King of the Hill. We ended up winning by a overwhelming amount. Over the time i was there i got to meet many friends and pros that i had known sence my Halo career. I ended up spending most of my time with a good friend and pro player Swiishaa. He introduced me to alot of friends that i had long forgotten about and he kept me intertained. This was a great experience for me and if you have never gotten a chance to attened one of these MLGs please do, you will never forget it.

Get to Know the Girl: My Bio

Posted by j_for_jade at Tuesday July 8, 2008 - 3:30 p.m.

I have been playing Xbox LIVE for over 5 years, since the beginning of Wolfenstein. I've been through many ups and downs in my gaming history. First clan I ever came across was DX. I played with them through Wolfenstein, CounterStrike, and Rainbow Six. Then I came across an amazing girl clan called PMS where I stayed and enjoyed my time all the way until Halo 2. The clan was very orderly and strong. More branches started from PMS resulting in a much larger clan, making it harder to keep up with the new girls. Slowly, I became unable to work with PMS and decided to leave. I've been on my own since, joining smaller clans or girl teams, but never becoming tied down. My interest stuck to Halo 2 due to the release of competitive gaming. Traveling to Major League Gaming events soon became a dream of my own. It's been three years since the release of Halo 2 and I'm now gaming in the newly released Halo 3. I look forward to being able to attend the MLG events in 2008. Playing would be a great honor for me and to find a team, but if all else fails, I will look forward to coaching a very inspirational team called LimeLight. I am a strong player, and not afraid to speak my mind. Honesty is my best policy!
 Thanks for the support

Gearing up for MLG Orlando

Posted by j_for_jade at Tuesday July 8, 2008 - 3:22 p.m.

Becoming one of the largest events for the 2008 season of Major League Gaming, Orlando. While it is not only providing an event for Halo 3 competitors, but also teams for Rainbow 6: Vegas, Gears of War and now World of Warcraft. People from across the world are stepping forth to compete in this mind blowing event. From the surprising ending of the 2006 & 2007 season, teams are still pushing their way to the top, trying to reach the spotlight like so many featured Pro Gamers. New teams have also been stepping up to plate with the big boys; Team Classic coming out from the amateur bracket and there first MLG event all together have put on a surprising show, knocking out many of the regular pro teams. MLG Orlando could be the turning point for many teams, not only for just the pro's but for teams look for their big break. This is the chance they've got to put on a suprising performance to make it to the upcoming Vegas Finals.

Taking on a new twist is MLG picking up World of Warcraft (WOW). Many concel gamers like myself could agree that MLG made a mistake, that bring PC gamers was only going to make the MLGs more crowded, lame, etc. But through the past events watching VOD and attending the events you would have to admit that this PC game has brought many new faces looking for there stardom.

Rainbow 6: Vegas has even brought in more gamers including girl gamers, like the proclaimed Halo 3 girl team, Team Foxy to the curcuit. My experience from the orginal Rainbow 6 and Black Arrow from years past, this game gives challanges that most cant experience in Halo 3. New weapons, strategies and more modern play from the futuristic Halo and Gears of War.

Suprisingly, MLG announced at the 2008 event in San Diego that they would be bring Gears of War back for the Orlando event. Many Gears of War players must have been pleased. Gears of War is strongly based on being a team player and staying together. More powerful weapons can kill you, but also bring you down near death having a teamate close can revive you for more game play. Making this game more challanging than even Halo or Rainbow can manage.

Many surprises are still to come from newer teams for Halo 3 and plenty of other games this 2008.
