New Multi-tap (SCPH-70120)

Ok, So I just recently bought a Slim PS2 and a SCPH-70120 multi-player Adapter. I have 4 PS2 controllers and I only have 3 multi-player games for it and they are Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death, Guilty Gear Isuka, and State of Emergency 2. Is there a certain way to set it up? LIke which controller port do I plug the Multi-tap in? Do I plug in all 4 controllers in the multi-tap and then plug in the multi-tap into PS2 then turn it on? Help would much appreciated.
