It's really one of those games that take up a lot of time to play but seriously u can play at your own pace without rushing to cap at current max player adventure level. When you get bored with adventuring/questing, you can take time out and do a tradeskill profession and craft items. What it really comes down to is do you enjoy doing things as part of a group or prefer solo? You just have to make sure and choose a class that will provide either one or sometime both, depending on what you pick. I hope this helps explain it a little better. You can always take a 14 day trial which is free to find out if you like it well enough to keep playing beyond that :)
Mmm, mostly my main game is Everquest 2 and my kicka** little Elf swashbuckler but I am just as known to carry my DS lite around with me with assorted games. Id love to try Gears of War someday and maybe another new one 2. Have an awesome day !
